Saw some LED lights for sale on ebay for the side lights, has anyone changed over to LED lights instead on the normal bulb? I normally drive with my lights on all the time as have Saab currently as DVLA have messed up my plate transfer so not got Altea yet. Need to have lights on when have strobes on the roof for work, thought these would be a bit different.

I think they need some form of current reducer, otherwise the bulb out light illuminates in the dashboard! not a massive job though,i believe! :)

I tried out led sidelights and they look great. Just make sure you get bulbs that are designed for the cambus system to trick the computer, otherwise it thinks a bulb has blown.

also a giude to change them i tried the weekend and could'nt get my fat hands in the small gap........
lol

Anyone got any photos at dusk/dark?

LED Sidelights

I have the opposite problem, LED sidelights look too white for my standard dipped main beam lights. If I had HID's LED sidelights are a must.

May go back to old lights as makes dipped lights look too yellow.

Mabster, where did you get your LED lights from? I have yet to get LED's for sidelights, something else I haven't got round to doing. Have upgrade headlight bulbs sitting in boot waiting to be fitted as well. Must be getting lazy in my old age:think::think:
