All above parts now fitted, old plugs hadnt been changed for a while looking at the state of them

Cannot really fault it as it's pretty much the same car as a 280 just 4wd.

Aha I always end up coming back , I know where my bread is buttered!

So far ownership has been great with the golf and I dont have any intentions of selling just yet.

It's a shame really as everyone on this forum are great , I may show my face at a future meet il just stick a cupra badge on for the day lol

Could be worse, I'm selling mine as i've bought a Clio 182... You know, because I was fed up of the Leon being so reliable that I wanted something that would be a lottery every time I drive it. Enjoy the Golf, they're great cars.

Should have bought a ibiza bocanegra...you could park it up and god knows if it would start up again incase the timing skips lol

Looks really nice mate, you ain't that far from me either haha! Just curious as I spotted a post of yours mentioned you had done your exhaust like and I'm thinking about getting a full system done and wanted your opinion on MIJ. I've seen varying responses from people having good and bad experiences. I was recommended to try both MIJ and Black Country Performance Exhausts, just not got a quote from MIJ yet as I don't know what's the crack with Full System Non-Cat (pre) and Full System from Catalyst (mid-rear) haha

If its any relevance the work they did was great on mine and fairly priced

I know people who have had work at black country exhausts

My OG favourite exhaust place has always been rj performance in Birmingham though

That's good to hear, in all honesty I'm really leaning towards BC Exhausts out of the simplicity of it being local to me so will be easier to sort things out and go back if anything was to be an issue, what did the people you know rate their exhaust work from BCE if you recall?

Not heard of RJ before now had a quick look on their site and their work looks nice too, again thank you for the response!

My mate had no complaints at all about their work so give it a go matey I've not heard any horror stories from them

Only thing now as I have a mk7 golf r is exhausts are top dollar , I thought miltek exhausts for a mk2 cupra was steep the mqb platform is a different league in pricing
