Leon 2.0TDI 150BHP stage 1 remap

I think this is the same engine as used in the Mk1 FR diesel. I had mine remapped to around 210bhp Stage 1. The only downside was also needing an uprated (manual) Sachs organic clutch. This gave a heavier clutch, but still very driveable.

No the 150 Leon uses the VW EA288 TDI, vs the older EA189. Not generally as tunable compared to the older engine due to the cross flow cylinder head design for efficiency but limiting maximum air flow on the EA288, but probably only noticeable if you're going larger turbos.
That probobly makes sense. I used to believe that the 184bhp was the new engine but the 150 was the old.
Hi I had a remap on my 2.0 tdi 150 with superchips about 1 month now. Definitely a noticeably difference in power when flooring it also car feels smoother to drive.
I've personally never used revo, but don't think you'll find much difference both quote similar power results. No difference in mpg, I've driven quite spirited the last month and still getting over 52 mpg
