ok so basically when i'm driving, the dash shows the temperature instead of the time. i've done searches on here and the only suggestion was that the temp shows until its over 5 or 7 degrees then it goes back to the clock. trouble is with mine it doesnt go back to the clock... it was 22 degrees today and still showed the temp instead of the time. i've looked in the manual and cant find anything either... can anyone suggest how to get the clock to stay on instead of the temp?

What model of the Leon do you have? On mine, I just use the rocker switches on right stalk. You should be able to change the display on the guage pretty easily.

I have the same car. The ignition has to be turned on (at least to the first position) then use the the rocker switches on the right hand (press them up and down) and you can change the display.

Use the wee button on the end of the right hand stalk, keep clicking it till the desired display is shown.

LOL This thread is funny. Why dont you go to the stealers?? You might have a dodgy stalk relay. They will be able to tell you in seconds. 22 degrees?? Mine showed 34 on tuesday, i was in middlesex at the united biscuits building near heinz was boiling.!!

Just to be absolutely sure...

When you get in the car the clock shows, but when you start the engine it changes to the temp display?

Then, if you press the rocker switches on the end of the wiper stalk (circled) -
