Looks very nice, for some reason I always thought this was a LCR
not knowing an awful lot about leons at the time and it came badged as an R so i thought it was too untill i joined the forum lol. well happy with the car at the min though.. nearly 40k on the clock and everything is very tight and runs like a dream (service every 3k/3months helps i guess)

some say they are really heavy brakes , compared to others , oi too am looking at upgrading , but what is the question

discs aren't as heavy as i'd have thought, they're almost like 2 peice items to keep weight down. they aren't cheap if you cant get them off of someone cheap... they're arround £400 from GSF for a pair of discs. but i was lucky with my ebay hunt.Definate improvement and as they are off a mk4 platform they're a direct swap
yes... having spoken to a few people on thwe mk4 forum the project is on hold untill i can spare the car for a few weeks plus have the dolla and a passat gear box

A New year brings a new motor (LEON FOR SALE BTW - OPEN TO OFFERS)
This year i've gone back to my Golfing ways after the Mk1, Mk2 1.816v and the Mk2 2.0ltr, its only right that the next step is a Mk3 (Vrooom Tissssch)
CL rear Tailgate and a full respray over at Porsche
Porsche Cup rims also blown over at Porsche in Bently continental candy white
Vento front end but i dont like the grille so that'll be changing in the near future.
All in all she's in show condition and just needs some engine work (as its neither big nor clever) and of course some... you guessed it, Porsche 4pot brakes.

She's a 1.4 at the moment... although i've just aquired a few goodies...

Yep... a 1.8t conversion -- still need an ibiza mk3 box etc or a Mk3 16v ABF box and flywheel etc but for no more than 305 notes delivered i'm doing hella well on this conversion!!!!!
also need to pick up some vibra tech mounts and a VR6 clutch next! Maybe some brakes too!
