Leon Cupra amendments - Winter Pack / Spare Wheel

As we know from the other thread relating to this subject, the Winter Pack has now been deleted as an option for the new Leon Cupra.

This is due to heated front seats not being available.

Any orders placed with the winter pack option specified will have that option removed and the dealers will of been contacted to inform customers of the change.

Emergency Spare Wheel

From launch to week 11 all Leon Cupra will be supplied with an emergency tyre repair kit.

From week 11 all Leon Cupras will be supplied with a 18'' spacesaver spare wheel

18'' spacesaver spare wheels will be automatically issued for all Leon Cupras built before week 11 once stock has filtered down to the dealers.

Nope, in fact spare wheels have been an option on all Mk2 Leon's to my knowledge since they launched them in 2005.

Tell them to contact SEAT UK if them claim not to know about these amendments. The parts information team have all the info.

A bulletin was sent to dealers earlier this month.

If it's of any help, I got my FR on Wednesday with the optional 18" alloy's & it's come with an 18" spacesaver, it's build was week 4.

Mine came with a space saver, week 12 build, isn't there a speed restriction on the space saver, I only ask as I was pursued up the M1 last monday by a lunatic Merc driver with a space saver (on the front drivers side) at speeds not dropping below 80mph...
