Leon Cupra Key Fob

Hey Guys,

How many batteries should a Phase 2 MK1 Leon Cupra have in the radio key fob?

Mine came with one (CR2032) and seems to fit nicely, however the guide on the site indicates 2 batteries. there is a green thing under the battery, is that a contact sheet?

You can use a single CR2032 or 2 x CR2016's.
Better to use a single though

early ones were cr2016 x 2

later ones Cr2032 x1

first 2 digits are the diameter and the 2nd two are the thickness so you can use either

when the later ones first started with the single battery we had people coming back every 3 months with trouble and found the CR2016 x2 more reliable btu i think just using a decent one would be a help anyway
