The interior on the RS looks awful , why do Ford have to colour code the steering wheel . It looks like someone has been spending their christmas money on max power products

Focus RS for me. My brother's had a couple of fast fords (RST's) and have been unreliable but i've always liked them. Lookswise i prefer the RS but on the interior side my LCR wins hands down. I have a mate with an RS and he pulls away from me quite convincingly (sp?) and he has spent about the same as me on mods.

Well i will now own up,i actually drive a Leon Cupra and love it.I use it as a family car,and it fits the bill.My son asked me this question having driven my Leon, and i knew the best place to get some sort of answer would be on this forum. So thanks guys for all your help, and hopefully it will make a decision somewhat easier.Of course i am biased. :)

having owned a focus rs with all the usual stuff , bluefin, manifold, de cat etc i can say 100 % the cupra is better.

you cannot steer the thing on a bumpy road at speed and i sold mine after a blast on a country rd where i was backing of because of bumps camber etc upsetting the line.

some are worse than others , the diff is the problem in my opinion and its not torque steer .

love my cupra to bits as its so much better a package , i can drive like miss daisy or cane it and enjoy it.

I chose my FR TDI over an ST170 and a Civic type-r, the ST170 was a very unwhelming car and not too different from my mates 1.8 zetec which i drove straight after.

I think the RS is a nice car and it gives the opportunity for "RS" related plates, out of interest is "FR" or "LCR" a possibility for number plates??
(well known fact that car model in number plate = increase in horses!)

cool number plate, just had a bit of a jolly following a LCR up the A46 and A45 and A46 round cov way, pulled along side him at the lights but he didn't smile back, probably doesn't use this forum as there was no fabia rear wiper either!!

Could stay with it at speed but he did pull away on acceleration quite a bit, makes me wish I had an LCR sometimes and would prefer that over an RS.

LCR for me but that said aside for the interior when you see the RS on the road it is a very nice looking car as well, is it just me though or does anybody else do this upon seeing a nice car on the road, i dont like to stare at the other car and just have a sneaky look out of the corner of my eye, just in case the guy thinks i like his car more than my own, which i definately dont,:cheeky: so LCR it is then.
