Love my cobra exhaust. Although I did have a crack in the downpipe which i took off and my mate welded It back up nicely. No more blow :D

And I didn't move the subframe to remove the downpipe either

Does anyone have any good quality videos of the non res cobra system by any chance? I'm really interested to what it sounds like.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Is there any reason I couldn't mix and match parts, just to be a little different?

I was thinking Blueflame downpipe, custom mid section (if I can find someone that does 3" pipes) and a cobra backbox.

why not just go full custom? you might be pleasantly surprised.

regarding mix & match, I currently have cobra sports cat & mid section (res), and custom (longlife) backbox, and it's fine. 2.5" though.

Blueflame DP and 100cell cat here with the milteck cat back. Almost 8 years old now and still perfect. only knocks the rear beam if carrying passengers in the rear.

I just don't like having the same as everyone else. I think I'll go for a mix of good parts / custom setup. I just need to find someone that does 3" piping. Could anyone recommend a place within around 50 miles of nottigham?

Does bill at badger5 do custom pipework?

I had a Piper, sounded great full chat but a bit chavy at low-mid rpm. Also it had quality issues and i had to send the back box back as the tip was corroding rapidly. Annoyingly they sent me a refurbed unit back and given mine was almost brand new i ended up with someones old one that looked like it had covered thousands of miles so overly wasnt impressed. After this it did last the next 2 years i had the car without an issue.
