I could have made a better exhaust from tin foil and a soldering iron!

Here's the shite that was made by a so called reputable exhaust company.

Well this evening I met up with mj, along with gibbo.

My lights cannot be coded into the module, so that's another thing the fl have lol

Gibbos went in easy, I'm looking into resistors now to get every thing working, bit of a bugger.

Decided that I wanted to fit puddle lights in the mirrors. As this is an option on the mk5 golf. Firstly I decided to check vagcom and see If I could code them in. After finding I could I made some led lights and split my mirrors

I drilled a hole underneath about 1pence sized and there in there.

Next I fed the cable through the body and took off the door card. Which is one of the worst designs I've ever seen

You use pin 10 and then code them. The lights come on when the doors open or unlocked and stay on longer than coming home lights.

Poor pics at the bottom

No mean feet.

Basically the door cards are a complete pain in the arse. The full window mech is fitted to the back of the card, so before I started I checked that I could code the module with vagcom. The checks were good so I stripped the doors down and ran wires then added the pin and coded the lights.

Pics are poo but you get the idea. The lights come on upon unlocking and stay on longer than the coming hone lights. They also active when the doors are opened.

Dint realise it posted it stupid phone.

Chris. Total pain in the arse took a good 4 hours plus lol.

Andrew. You can also wire in door warning lights that would go in the bottom of the door.

But it will take more planning as the card needs cutting and thats bot to easy. Why they didn't fit them as standard I'll never know.
