the joms ride pretty good, a bit bouncy but in line with what the oem struts were,

everybody knows yellow is the fastest colour, lol

next mod i would like to do is door warning lights, maybe interior handle illumination, even mirror indicators, but all require cutting as there from a mk5 golf, as seat decided to do away with the door lights

heres a pic of the miror.

the led's are actually encased in plastic, the plan is to make a small doned piece of clear plastic to fit in the hole to make it level,

jake

What LEDs did you use for this jake? The readers ride is the one in following the most

three smd led's in a disc, with a pos and neg feed.

i made two thin plastic discs and then hot glued them in the middle to waterproof them.

cheers jake

Drove the car home.

The bush seems to have stiffened the steering ever so slightly no real negative effects. Does feel a little more sharp on turn in but nothing mind blowing

The pcv seems to have given the carbs little bit more mpg from what i can tell but Tbh the right foot was down a bit to test the bush.

I've now ordered a super pro dog bone bush too

Great looking car. I am waiting for my puddle lights to arrive. I have already wired the mirrors after placing door warning lights. I finished today. Here are some photos since I saw that you are interested in doing that also.

More pics tomorrow. I suppose they are called the mk5 version. Well it's not that difficult. You'll need a dremel definitely and a lot of patience. I am also thinking of placing a rear view camera on the rear boot seat badge. Moving when selecting reverse and seeing what's on the back on my rns.

Have you placed a camera on the rear badge also? I was actually thinking of getting a passat petrol flap solenoid.

Definitely one of the best cupra's i've seen in a while! Clean subtle mods are the best and give the car more class [B)]

I bought a fl tailgate for my leon but having a couple issues fitting, the handle is smaller on the facelift, dealers want £90 for the new handle! :(

Any tips on fitting? Cheers

Decided to fit puddle lights to my mirrors.

No mean feet.

Basically the door cards are a complete pain in the arse. The full window mech is fitted to the back of the card, so before I started I checked that I could code the module with vagcom. The checks were good so I stripped the doors down and ran wires then added the pin and coded the lights.

Pics are poo but you get the idea. The lights come on upon unlocking and stay on longer than the coming hone lights. They also active when the doors are opened.

I need to do this mod, could the wires be tapped into the coming home lights?
