Hi Guys,

The centre section on my standard exhaust on my facelift Mk1 leon cupra has broken off the bracket. Apparently this needs replacing as you can't buy the bracket.

Does anyone know a cheap place to get an exhaust centre section from? Is it worth paying a little bit more and getting part of a performance exhaust?

Any feedback would be appreciated!!

Cheers,

Dave

Depending on the condition of the rest of the exhaust you can get the bracket welded back on...I had this a while back on mine, JKM welded it for me during a service and it cost peanuts to do.....

As for a performance exhaust, maybe. The downpipe and cat are the most restrictive part, so these are a beneficial upgrade even with the standard rear section so I'm told. You will however need a custom reducer to go from the upgraded centre to standard rear (likely different bore sizes)
