Leon Facia Plate

Now then,

fitted my Kenwood HU
took out the screws either side of the unit
fitted the facia backing piece with the screws
fitted the front facia piece into the backing piece

Has anyone got any photo's as I seem to have a 5-10mm gap either side of the facia plate?

Starting to think I have the wrong facia.

Looking at some other pics I must have my left and right the wrong way round, I guess the gap needs to be on the inside to allow for the unit surround. Will have another go tonight.

You have the wrong facia... The leon one doesn't have any screws, it's just a plastic insert that fits in the dash before you put the radio cage in.

Maybe he sent the Mk2?

The Mk2 Leon is so different it'd never fit, the Mk2 HU is huge.

This is what I ordered but looking at the photo, whats arrived is different. I have 4 pieces, 2 to screw and 2 to attach to the first 2.

Two Questions... firstly...

Is it possible to get these in the colour to match the grey colour from the Leon interior?

and...Where is the best place to get one of these from?

I've found them (black) online for £6.99, a fair few on ebay too....Halfords are about £15... but this £6.99 means I have to sign up to YET ANOTHER online shop... lol

Mind you, saving nearly £10 I suppose its worth it!

Nobody does them in a colour to match the silver dash unfortunately. You could always buy a black dash panel to match the facia.

You need the one peice one, the two peice one is for an audi and not the right one.
