I brought a leon fr 08 new last year at 3 months old i had the carpet replaced as the pile was falling out (bobbling) , about 6 weeks ago i was hoovering the car and the carpet in the rear is doing the same again. I contacted my local local dealer (wiltshires) on the advise of Seat, they took some photos of the carpet and said they would email these to Seat. I rang the dealer the following week and spoke to the sales manager whos ans:confused:wer was Youre having a laugh you wont hear any thing for at least 2 weeks. I rang Seat my self who then told me they had not received an email but the carpet problem was fair ware and tear and was only warrented for 6 months. Has any one any views or ideas on this (AS IM NOT HAPPY ITS ACCEPABLE FOR CARPETS TO ONLY LAST 6 MONTHS :confused:
 
i'm guessing you dont have any mats in the car then ?

even without them i would expect some wear but not to the extent that the carpet needed replacing !
 
get hold of seat customer services
had similar problems with drivers seat
"seat" say wear and tear but this is cr*p
after alot of compaining im on my 3 rd seat great
 
I have spoken to customer services they are as bad as Wiltshires in Farnham now youve bought the car they loose interest they dont seem interseted in repeat business.Iwould have to think seriously about another seat
