depends, have you got plans for mods, if yes then a custom map, if not then id say a gentric map, like APR or revo

cai, pannel filter, then remap, maybe too the etreme of an exhaust upgrade, just depends but they aare the most common mods
Hi Jamie, I have the FR 150...
Only mod i have is a remap, done by a local place in N.Ireland and im more than happy with it. It feels so much quicker and pulls much further up the rev range.
Mine was putting out 166 bhp as standard and now its around 195 bhp and 310 llb torque.
If you havn't run your clutch ragged so far then it should be ok if driven right. I havnt had any problems with mine though had to change my driving style very slightly...
Loads of threads on here about modifying options for the PD150 depending how much money you want to spend... 15 quid up to and over a fair few thousand im sure!
You could do the brakes, suspension, remap, panel air filter, boost guage, exhaust....

yea im awar of the fabia wiper. The car i am looking at has 10000miles on it and is completly standard. My plans were to get new suspension, panel filter and a remap.
Can i ask what is a cai?
Also when remapped what kind of cars have the same power/speed? Type r's etc?

CAI/COLD AIR INTAKE, a remap is a must, when i first got mine done my jaw droped, thought it was guna be overated but i was so wrong, take a good drive in your car then go get it done and the difference unbaleivable
Type-Rs is a strange one...you would have similar bhp and more torque but from a standing start they would probably pull away, better traction and must be lighter. I've never really come up against one so not sure.
As per other thread, i have pulled away from a MK5 GTI and tonight a new Focus ST couldnt pull away from me although it was coming out of a roundabout so not a standing start. At next roundabout he lost me, roads quite damp and i couldnt get traction to get the power down.

alot of people smooth there standard air box out put a green pannel filter in and attatch a 3inch cold air feed, theres lots of threads on them
Get a custom map so it can be tweaked, i had revo and it gave me clutch slip. I have now reverted back to stock code and got a refund from revo. If it was me and i wanted to do it which i wouldnt now but if i did it would be a custom map, but then you have the warranty worry as you cant switch them off like revo.

Yes, have it mapped so that torque comes in smoother, as apposed to early and aggressive

Except if your car already has a slipping clutch caused by a duff Dual Mass Flywheel .....
Just something to be aware of, failure of this part of the clutch seems to be all too common - there aren't many clear warning signs except for clutch slip
