Just Bought one Today in White Eco 1.4Tsi FR 150 ST its great,



Traded a 280 Cupra love the extra space and so comfortable. 50mpg on the Cpmputer New so fingers crossed it was the best choice for us from the 150 diesel. Very light like a magic Carpet LOL..

Trading in a cupra must of been a tough call! Good to hear you are still impressed with half the power though.

I'm getting a real 50mpg+ from mine - just driven normally. It does get better as the car gets a few miles under its belt - When refilled it used to claim 490 miles to empty when new. It now says between 530 and 540 miles each time and just done 510 miles on the last tank with a claimed 45 miles to go till empty - and there's normally a few miles more on top of that available "just incase". Trip Computer reckoned it was 54mpg for the last tank which is a little optimistic - took 45.7 litres so almost bang on 51mpg. Still pretty good for a 150bhp petrol whichever way you look at it.

I will be very happy to get 50mpg, it more than our current tractor gets! That's indicated too as I have never bother calculating.

evening folks placed my order for the leon 1.4 eco fr 150 dsg on the 12th of may and got the 13th of august as its a factory build so really hopping its not delayed as the excitement is killing me

The 1.4Tsi is a great car not really missing the Cupra albeit it was an awesome motor.Lifestyle change (Getting Old) LOL.. Could only recommend the 1.4tsi 150 so far.

I ordered mine, (5 door 1.4 TSI ACT, Tech Pack, Apollo Blue, 18" wheels, Reversing camera) on 28.04.2016. I was quoted a delivery date of 30.06.2016. I was given a build week of 23 (this week) 2 weeks ago. The dealer rang me today to tell me it had just arrived in the country .

He expects it to be at the dealers at the end of next week.

An update on my FR. As above, I was told by the dealer that it had docked last friday. I rang for an update on Thursday as I hadn't heard anything to be told it was expected to dock yesterday!!

Apparently the ship had docked in Sheerness last friday but mine was not to be dropped off. It was to be taken to Teesport!

Still no build week for mine. I phoned the dealer last week and all they could tell me was that the order has been accepted by the factory but they had no projected build week.

Looks good! When it is that clean it doesn't look quite as dark as the one at the dealer. Mine only had the standard 17's but it's good to know what it will look like otherwise.

In low light and when it's a bit dirty the paint/colour looks really flat and dull. When it's clean, in low light it almost looks like liquid and when it's clean and the sun is on it then the metallic flakes really jump off the paint.

I think the colour suits the ST well.

Looks really smart, def made the right colour choice. Can't wait for mine to arrive end of next month

Can't believe they're unable to give you a build week. As a guess I would say either week beg 11th or 18th July based on dates I've been given!

Mine was built 6 weeks after order (5 door though), got my build week about 2 weeks before.

Hopefully not much longer for you.

Thanks, apparently its on shore now and waiting to go through customs. When it has, I will get my reg and the dealer will arrange transport.

Update on my 5 Door FR 150, it has cleared customs and I have been give my reg number. Being delivered to the dealers tomorrow and ready for collection next Tuesday, it will be like waiting for christmas as a young child!!

Here is the timescale of my car if it is any help to those waiting for theirs (or soon to order one).

28.04.2016 - ordered
20.05.2016 - got build week
06.06.2016 - built
11.06.2016 - arrived in UK port but not the final destination
18.06.2016 - arrived at the final port
23.06.2016 - cleared customs and put into SEAT UK stock
24.06.2016 - car transporter to the Dealer
28.06.2016 - Dealer prepped and ready for collection

So exactly 2 months after order but took 3 weeks from build to be ready for collection

Sweet, mine is apparently going to be built no later than early July to arrive at latest late July/start of August, however...we shall see.

If your dealer is anything like mine, it's very difficult to get any timescales from them, like they have never dealt with a new car before

Got an email confirming a build week of week 27 today. Been told to expect 4-6 weeks from that for it to be delivered. Not too bothered about missing the new number plate just want it as soon as now.

Glad its moving on for you, finally got mine on Wednesday. The wait is painful but believe me it will be worth it, loving it so far. Spent yesterday with the wax




PS. I know my hedge wants cutting and the drive cleaning, but it's much more interesting to play with a new car

Question, how did you find out all the arrivial and and port details? Can you track the car? If so how did you do it? I'd like to track mine but wouldn't know where to start.
