You mean 157 GPS don't you

Not a hope in hell will an LCR do 167mph true speed! He'd be reading around 180 on clocks if they were to read that high!

I am sure there were some posts on here of some people with REVO getting around this on the way back from Germany?

I know that Dutch tuner JD is running an IHI'd leon topsport (345 bhp) for some years now. Car is running over 30000 miles without a single problem. (motor has been upgraded with stronger parts, Maf is no longer working etc).

Dropped about 20mm on Eibach Pro Street Coilovers, using Eibach rear ARB, with the standard front.

What size is the standard front ?

Upped my rear ARB to 28mm and front to 25mm and the car corners really flat, understeer isn't an issue. I had just the back done originally with std front ARB which is really skinny, made the car feel a little odd, kinda delayed turn in  . For the money the S3 strut brace really helps turn in too.

Nice spec, good luck with the car ;)

Not too sure the size of the standard bar - I was going to wait till I see how the car handles the extra power, and then maybe give the front a try.
I , last week bought an S3 brace - am just in the process of polishing it up and giving it a lick of paint! - hoping for improvements with that as you say
Thanks for your comments re the car - I am really on the outer limits now am I not - uncharted waters so to speak , so we`ll just have to see how things go - It`s my `daily driver` so should be interesting, cause I do a lot of miles in all weathers - I suppose front tyre life will be measured in nanoseconds
I just love the `R` though :coolthumb - I think it looks great, and have always thought that it should have the power to go with the looks
Watch this space :D

Sure will Vern! - if I can stay out of jail long enough to write about it, when I get the car back
The spec will be pretty comprehensive - I gave them `carte blanche` to do what they feel is right for me, and I know without reservation that they know what they are doing, so the outcome will be quite interesting :p
It wont be as hot as Bill`s motor, but should be quite quick all the same
Standard capacity/S3 pistons/Forged rods/smallport head - gas flowed/uprated valves/Dahlback manifold/Evoshield/Jabba FMIC/ Aquamist/Milltek 2.75" with single back box/Uprated clutch/Quaife diff :D
Not sure yet which turbo they are going to use!!
Got the Porsche 993 `Big Reds` upfront and EBC grooved/drilled at the rear with Red Dot pads
Dropped about 20mm on Eibach Pro Street Coilovers, using Eibach rear ARB, with the standard front.
8.5/18 Sportecs with P-Zero Corsa 235/40/18
Well that`s it for a start! -I`ll just have to see how I get on!!
Wowzer songman, you dont do thigs by halves  Let's hope they spec you the PE1820 turbo, would be nice to see how this spool's on 1.8t compared to bill's 1.9t, sportecs alloys says it all, top notch, you get em from AMD?

Goodluck with the conversion ;)

Thanks Vern! - There is some debate at the moment with regards to which turbo to use, so I`m not sure what the output will be, but in truth it will be `plenty enough` for me, whatever it is - the car is rapid even now since the remap Jabba did with the Dahlback
I`d thought of going the whole hog and getting it bored, using the largeport etc, but the engine is really just nicely run in as it is now so it will be interesting to see just what output we get with this setup as an interim - If I feel i`m losing out in the `power stakes` then I will do the rebore etc next year.
I did get the wheels from AMD because I thought the looked good on the car, and also because they told me they fitted over the Big Reds - they were naughty because they don`t without spacers though they do fit over the standard LCR Brembos - the Big reds are approx,16 mm wider than the Standard Brembos!
However all is not lost because the Sportecs are tapped in 3 places on the hub face and they make an integral spacer kit which comes at a nominal 10 mm wide - this locates into a spigot on the wheel hub and is fixed by three machine screws, countersunk into the spacer face, allowing the spacer positive and permanant location, dead centre on the wheelhub face
I had these machined down to 6mm, giving about 3mm clearance on the calliper - this works well - no wobbles or vibration - and I am fussy believe me!! - the car steers and handles fine - however the front track with the spacers+ 8.5" rims+ 235 tyres is right at the limit of the standard wheel arches
The rear is fine :D
