Leon Mk2 BodyKits!!!!??? H E L P

Hi all,

Firstly i would like to know if it is possible to get an exact replica bodykit of the BTCC Mk2 Leon's/ SCC bodykit...I know ppl call the one available from the dealership "the btcc one" but i fail to notice the similarities!!!???

Secondly if it's not possibe to get hold of those, can anyone reccomend a good looking kit?

Why do you want a replica kit?

What you should consider is looking on ebay and add a genuine FR/Cupra kit from a dealer that replaced them with the Aero kit on a new car. It is the best looking kit, you can get them cheap and ready painted, and they wont break when a stone hits them.

They are all as bad as each other, just get the skirts and dont worry about the rest for your FR.

The BTCC is not nice on the FR, keep it the way it was made or your car will just look like the Ref Sport that came with the free kit anyway.

Besides SEAT you can get kits by Ibherdesign, JE Design, ABT Sportline (about the nicest looking) and a few more I cant remember.

the only ref that has the free kit is the 1.6 not 2.0 tdi i have the kit on my 2.0 tdi but seadragon is wright if you have the fr just put the side skirts and the rear spoiler it still looks good

He doesnt mean a replica of the BTCC "inspired" Aero kit he means a replica of the kit as used on the actuall touring cars.

To get it right you would also need to think about getting massively stupid spacers as i think the arches step out a fair bit out of the OEM wheel arch.

Not much use to you I know Jdearden & I don't know if its a common thing, but Richard Alexanders in Huddersfield have an FR TDI with bodykit and similiar 'livery' to the BTCC.

Not sure of exact spec but its def got full leather interior (not great IMO). Was a little shocked when I spotted the £21,500 price tag.......

I also prefer the FR with just the spoiler and the side skirts. Controversial I know but I also like the std FR alloys - b@st@rd to keep clean though.

Yes, they were on my demo & couldn't justify extra for the 18's - I am from Yorkshire after all!!
