leon Mk2 Sport TDI easy mods

Hi all,

not used to this section of the forum...however my dad is now the proud owner of a 08 mk2 leon sport tdi.. after getting rid of his skyline for a more suitable family car.

We were talking about little bits and bobs he can do to his car. So far we have planned to get a stage 1 p-torque map, 20mm rear spacers and maybe tinting the rear windows. He has kinda caught my modding bug and was asking me about other things he could do to his car.

On the mk4 ibiza there are several little things that can be done like splitters and general upgrading parts from the cupra range, and there any that apply to the mk2 leon?

There are quite a few performance & cosmetic mods that he can do.
Performance:-
Panel air filter will help a little,
312mm front brakes,
Springs & dampers,
Maybe a rear anti roll bar.......

Just for starters, but you can go down the hybrid turbo route!

Cosmetic:-
Cupra black grille
Cupra piano black B & C pillars
Exhaust tailpipe(s)
Maybe FR/Cupra bumpers...........

So many things you can do really.

yeah im thinking less of the big mods...i'm talking about the little ones, for example the cupra grill...on my ibiza i have done few of the ibiza cupra mods...so looking for the leon ones for him...

Cupra grille & tailpipe are the only exterior mods I've done (apart from the 18" alloys I use for summer).
Oh, & a Golf rear wiper.

i've only changed the grill and the pipes for now
lightining also new , HID and LEDs on the plates
pland to fit a bodykit but run out of funds for it

Cupra splitter fits well on the Leon unless its got the BTCC bodykit, I don't think anyone has attempted it on there, doesnt fit quite right i dont think

Same Here except i havent done the Rear Debadgeing yet , getting rid of the "LEON" Badge soon

Yep, keep the FR badge and I also put a nice little 'Neverbeen' sticker on the equal opposite side, I like it

Yeah, rear debadge was probably the first mod I did.

Yup, grill and mirror caps are better from Dave (seremotors) on here, and splitter is about £20 from local dealer

hers one with the aero kit with the lcr splitter. cant make my mind up on it if looks right or not.
