Im sure youve thought of this but youll need some extra cooling.
Possibly some form of independent boost control to limit spikes too.

sounds a plan.

well i'm already running stage 2 software and set up etc (Fmic included in that) i have been thinking about watermet or just water injection but i dont think i need to resort to that sort of measure with this set up. i'll run some logs and see how it goes once installed.

its because hes bonkers, but only as bonkers as the rest of us!:D

muhahahaha couldn't disagree with that

i just wanna see a 20vt Cupra 4 squeezed in an arosa, now that would be cool even if it was only for traction off the line :p

or just RWD mmmmm

Apologies for the healthy doses of cynicism, but for long term members we've seen this idea and enthusiasm before. But to date, we see no Cupra 4's!!! It's a bit like the Holy Grail round here.

must admit the 'conversion' suggestion always comes annually but we have a couple of european members with a C4 including a black 20vt in norway iirc ?

i've seen them on the production line (great looking engine btw) and one imported/for sale in uk about 4 years ago but missed it by 24hrs and actually drove a tdi one in holland but one day i guess.

I'm absolutly barking i'm afraid... i can squeeze an RB25DET into a 200sx, race it... blow it up and rebuild it in a weekend so this shouldnt be any harder lmao.

the only problem, as with anything is cost! it might be a 12 month plan yet lol. dont need to change the tunnel goes hte rumor though, just need to fab a bracket to hold the prop :)

Engine noise, carbs, blowers:drool:
As long as this effort got shared around and you were painting my motor

I have a crazy idea (thanks to someone called flapper:whistle:) of a total and complete Stag rebuild with a slightly :cartman: bigger engine.
Havnt told the neighbours yet!

why dont ya put some forged con rods and pistions in then just leave the turbo charger on and then bolt a nice superchager on it then you would have something different

Floorpan wise the tunnel is exactly the same. The floor pan is the same up to the front of the boot floor so where the rear seats are.

It has been done, but cost about 10k to do it to factory standard using a new 4Mo rear floor (seen it done on a Beetle) but you have to factor in tank, pumps, etc. You could get a front ended S3 and unpick the rear chassis and attatch it to yours, if done by the correct people it would be just as safe as the original if not more. Done a very similar operation building WRC cars that arent meant to be 4WD, but it will cost far more than the car is worth, might be easier getting a Leon 4 bodyshell and converting LHD to RHD.

The joys, a guy with a bit of enthusiasm!
Ok, so you did the 200SX with the RB26, now you want a change.
I had a Cupra R and didnt want to go chopping up the floor for this, but a Leon, 1.4 or something thats been blown up or something then go chopping that!

And if you want to see cars with the wrong engines in, my bro in laws a bit daft with engines!
