Leon Suspension?

Hi guys i know this is my first post and i am afraid its something technical.

I have a 2000 leon 1.6 s and have been offered some cupra R suspension form a 2003 vehicle. i recently had a spring snap but fancy lowering but not too much becuase i have 2 kids which i dont want battered about by lowering 40mm etc.

I was just hoping that the shocks and springs from a cupra R would fit or would it cause me problems?

will physically fit ,but spring weights are totally different, the lcr is alot heavier so springs will be stiffer, the 1.6 will ride cack on lcr springs mate.

how much is the lcr suspension?

The ARB's mount in a different place on the R, would this be a problem?

nah.. keep arb attatched to wishbone on leon.

would be a problem if using lc setup on lcr... wouldnt fit

it is only £50 would i be better just buying standard stuff?

or adding 70 to it and buying a jom uprated kit..... but yeah, stick to standard if you dont wantt to spend anymore.
