Had my 110 Leon Remapped the other week to 143BHP, and am now looking for a bit more ummfff somebody told me that a manual boost controller and a TDI tuning box would make a difference. Is this true or should the remap of done what the tuning box is meant to?

So have you heard of a manual boost controller? Will this make a difference I already have a boost gauge fitted just didnt know if it would make a difference as ive never heard of one on a TDI before. Any ideas???

Your TDI 110 has a VNT turbocharger, which has no waste gate. I don't think manual boost controllers are compatible with VNT turbos, although I could be wrong. In any case, the ECU is already performing boost control functions via the N75 valve. One of the changes made by your remap will have been to modify the N75 actuation.

Thanks for the advice think i mite jst save up and buy a cupra tdi lol!:p

Or do what I did, put a bigger turbo on your 110 ;) but then you will need bigger injector nozzles, exhaust etc, oh and a clutch that can handle the power as the oem clutches struggle to hold more torque that 260ftlb ish, but it's your choice
