Stu why would you want to really?

One you have the clearance problem, spacing out brings the turning wheel leading edge closer to the arch
Two the extra load on the hub and bearings with the wheel out further, also the fact if you dont change to longer bolt, the stress the bolts go thou with less thread into the hub
Three bring the wheels out further would bring the tyre tread out past the arch line and thus making them illegal for road use, as the law states tyre tread should not pass the arch line, e.g. why alot of euro people "HAD" to stretch tyres to make the tread follow the arch line!?

the spacers im going for dont require longer bolts..

im looking at the spacers that bolt to the hub and then the wheel bolts to the spacer its self.. meaning less wobble

id only relly be spacing out the rear wheels so the turning wouldnt be too much of a problem.

as it stands at the mo the wheels are quite tucked in under the arch so spacing them i hope shouldnt put the tread past the arch line.

it all works in theory lol

Just get 8.5 wide ones like me! lol
Its funny i look at mine and well they both front and rear sit at the same spot.. directly under the arch line...
i think it would look wierd with the rears stepping out more than the fronts, unless that was its because the tyre is like 10 on the rear 8 on the front.. but we arent RWD cars are we, so no need?
