The speed limit bongs are just annoying, but the lane keep assist tries to force me into the kerb more than it's ever tried to keep me actually in my lane.... Both systems are turned off every time I start the car cos they're more of a hindrance and distraction than anything actually useful

Physical buttons are already on the way back and the over sensitive ADAS systems are slowly but surely being toned down via software updates.

I get it, people don't want or need too much intervention. We've been driving for decades without unnecessary technology ruining the experience.

personally, my least favourite system is the autonomous reverse braking feature. It's that sensitive and violent that you might as well have hit whatever you were nowhere near.

I've not had an issue in my Born with that (yet), but in my Leon I've been sure I've slammed into a post or something with how fierce it braked for me, only to find out there was a friggin plant in the driveway I was using that the sensors picked up on.
