LHD Gear Knob fitment on RHD car

I have tried ordering the Linea R gearknob and gaiter from IBEXparts online. They claim that the part is only available for LHD vehicles and will not fit RHD. I cannot see any reason why a LHD one will not fit. Can anyone enlighten me to something I may be missing?

Ergonomic design??

It will fit but will be uncomfortable?? Maybe....no technical reason that I can see!

The knob is spherical (see photo in link), so therefore ergonomics can't be the issue. Sorry to question your knowledge but with a name like SeatGOD are you a master tech or dealer ?

I have tried ordering the part through SEREMOTORS on here but he has advised that its not available in the UK. I haven't got a part number unfortunately.
