light stays on dash!!! help

hi,the light that comes on when you turn off the traction control has stayed on,i pressed the traction button but it just stays on,it does not affect the drive or anythin as its been like this for a few weeks but its annoyin me now lol
any ideas and many thanks in advance

Maf sensor probably you will have to get it scanned with vag com because its just a guess

i had that on mine. but i also had the engine managment light on too. turned out to be my maf so once i replaced that and had the codes reset it sorted my traction control too....... some how

thanks guys,im about to buy a maf because it kept stallin so hopefully it will solve both problems
