3rd attempt at posting this!

I thought the Cupra had a proper LSD, I thought the XDS system was used in cars like the standard GTI that don't have an LSD?

Happy to be told I'm being a bit thick also :)

I am no expert (more like bumbling idiot) but i thought we had both, and that is certainly how i read the article I attached earlier.

I have also tuned both XDS and LSD on my car.

Afaik XDS is the system that uses the brakes to control wheel spin. The diff in the Cupra is a VAQ , and , whilst not a true mechanical LSD ( for those of us who remember old RWD cars) is an electronically controlled version which (is meant to) offer the same benefits but none of the drawbacks of a 'normal' LSD .
