Just a report on how i brought a car from Listers Seat in Coventry. I was well happy with the service i got, i wasnt pressured into buying anything and they were very pleasant, clean my car out fully and gave me mats and even cleaned up a curbed alloy.
Well Impressed.
Would recommend them to anyone
better than when i brought my car from heartlands Ford.

On initial sale they are good. However my experiences after are mixed. I bought my car second hand and initially all was good. I took the car back after a couple of days when the steering wheel was not aligned, had to wait an hour for them to sort it. The new tax disc I brought with the car, I didn't get until a few weeks later and I didn't get my V5 through until I phoned the DVLA and told them I was the new owner! The car when I picked it up had just been 'fully serviced', at the time it was over 2 years old. About 6 months after I was braking and the car would not stop - it only just scrubbed off enough speed to warrant me control on a thankfully empty island. Turns out they didn't do a brake fluid service!
First MOT - failed on track rod (wear and tear) and the MOT tester took me to one side and asked if I had been involved in a crash!? I was wondering why? He then told me about how the front lights were left hand drive ones and he gets a couple of UK registered cars a year where this is the case - often pointing to cheap repairs with continental parts. I took the car to Listers and they reluctantly replaced the headlights FOC (they initially wanted me to pay for them! - 115 part check my ass).

My recommendation is to use them for the warranty issues and for servicing use a good recommended specialist - like those on the site. Alternately there are a couple of VAG specialists in Coventry, one being TheVWAudiSpecialists in Longford and the other Autohaus in Holbrooks.

I bought 2 cars on there, and nothing to say about the sales department!
But when you need change something under warranty my opinion changes 100%

Has been said on here before..... I still cannot believe that little idiot (the young one with the dark hair) has not been filled in by anyone yet. His attitude when your the fecker that has spent loads of money with them stinks.

Buying cars from them no problems, but that idiot on the service desk is number one on my village idiot list.
