Little speaker at the top of the door

Hey, my second post

Everything works perfect in my Toledo...except.... the little speaker at the top of the front passenger door crackles. Anyone know where I can get a replacement and if they are easy to replace? Don't want to force the cover off without knowing really in case I snap it

I'm in the same boat, but its my drivers side one which is even worse!!

I can't see any visible join in the speaker grille, which suggests to me the speaker is mounted to the back of the door panel and the panel needs to be removed to get to it. Tweeters aren't exactly massive, on my previous cars they're simply clipped into place and can be removed quite easily.

I've not yet looked for replacements, but if I find one on my travels I'll post a link.

Yep, if you take the door card out you will see that they are affixed from the rear (looked at mine when I had my door cards out to fix the ancillary carrier leaks)

The speakers aren't too pricey from the dealer, about £15 each I think.

or just do what i've done and while resealing doors replace all speakers with 2 way components
