Loading MP3's onto MF3D

Ive had a look at the manual and to me it doesnt make much sense.
If I put a cd in with MP3s on, how do I download them to the HDD?
If I go to the tracks and press the 'info' button on the right, HDD is there but its not in bold so cant press it.
The manual is appalling.
Any help greatly appreciated. As SEAT are f*****g around so much with the new ipod connection I want to get my tunes on the hard drive

stick your cd in.
select cd if your on radio or nav.
select relevant folder/track.(press the funny little icon on the right, it looks like a list)
select copy
(it will prompt to 'copy where')
i usually select copy here.

Thats the point. When I press the funny symbol on the right it doesnt give me the copy option just cd or hdd and the hdd is not pressable (its faded out)

Are you using an MP3 CD or just a normal audio CD?

Its a cdrw with tunes from itunes on it

Yes, but is it burnt as an Audio CD (which is the default) or have you selected either MP3 CD or Data CD before burning?

The MFD3 is unable to copy Audio CD's

Dude your a star. Loaded 4 gig of music onto a dvd, changed setting to mp3 then slotted it in the car. Got all the copying started and went for a beer in the pub. It loaded it all with the ignition off
Got back in the car and ive got hundreds of tunes on there.
Im cancelling my ipod dock which ive waited ages for!
Quite a good bit of kit
