is there a way to find out how many times launch control has been used on a car? If i had any indication that someone had been using launch control i'd want to know and i would not touch the car.
Its a gimic, a waste of time, and not something we need or should want on road cars.
anyways, once electric cars take over you will get beaten off the line regardless.

Agree it's a gimmick in the real world - used by the manufactures/magazine reviewers to get the headline 0-60's
Colleague has a model 3 performance - off the line acceleration - wow, in fact i'd probably call it uncomfortable (as a passenger) Can't see any ICE car getting close at the traffic light GP upto 30-40mph! and my weekend car is a 4.6 supercharged V8 Dax Rush as my point of reference!
