Locking car with key fob

2016 is 1.6mm thick and 2032 is 3.2mm thick, so the 2032 will look right, but only been 3v each youre only giving your fob half the volts it needs

changed batteries mate, the little light on the fob is alot brighter and stronger now which is a good thing but tried to sync to the car but i still cant do it and its driving me insane lol

yeah mate it is, both my key fobs are now flashing 5 times which is a good sign to.

Try disconnecting the car battery for 30 mins and try again.

Just takes the power from the central locking box for a while. Hopefully it should reset the central locking box. Kindve like resetting your computer. It's a long shot but worth a try.

hmmm well im out at the minute so i can always try it tomorrow.... have you tried it with yours or do you just know of people who have done it?

It has to be in the ignition.

to the red lights then off and take key out or actually turn the engine on then off and take the key out?

It's menna be to the red lights then off. But I had success with start engine for a second then off and hit the buttons.

sorry to hijack this but my remote key has a mind of its own sometimes it works fine others it wont at all do i need to re-sync or replace the battery?
