Am I right in saying it is possible to lock the car without arming the alarm if you press the lock button twice?

If so is there a sequence? I have tried pressed the lock button in quick succession with no success, do I need to wait for the car to lock and then press the button again??

Are you just trying to disable the interior sensors to leave a child / dog in there?

If so there is a button on the B pillar by the drivers seat. Press this then lock the car as normal.

No I actually need to turn the alarm off, my boot latch sensor is faulty so the car thinks the boot is open! So if I lock the car the alarm goes off at random intervals

I spoke to Seat, they told me that clicking twice only disables deadlocks and not the alarm, but the sensor appears to be ok now! Fingers crossed

Locking twice will de-activae the dead locks. I think if you lock the car with the key in the drivers door, it might lock without arming, but i'm not 100%.
Have you looked in the manual? Normally some info about the car in there ;)
