I'm with you James who would pay £1500 for a map when they could have a different custom map with 4-6hrs on the rollers for £350.

A whole day to map a car......maybe a 1500bhp supra but not a pretty standard leon?

I know MrOCD didnt actually pay £1500 but still seems a lot to me....

glad im not the only one "missing the point"ffs, ........

laughable costs imo, good job it was free, cant see why if its 1500quids worth of work theyd do it for free, and spend all day on rollers to achieve generic map figures, no matter how good the graph... which looks like any stage 1 graph to me.

dont want to have a go, but i think im not missing any point tbh.

no, i am not missing the point... custom maps are customised on a rr. the point is 1500 quid is stupid for a product that will get the same result.

i think you will find the 234bhp quoted for mine is accurate. generic maps pull your 205bhp. and drive fantastically well. if the product your using is far superior, then what is it and where are they... not that at 1500 quid they will get much business on here i would doubt.

lots of members have had true 230-240 form ko3s, so to say that wills figures come from his rr is b$&&ox mate.... cc, revo, apr all do the same for 4 times less than your generic map would be.

dont doubt its good, but its you missing the point i think. rant over:doh:

Like I said I didnt pay a penny and I wouldnt expect anyone else to pay £1500 either so you are missing the point entirely  - I'll say it again for your benefit... it was free, nada, zero, f-all and no I wouldnt expect anyone to pay that sort of money  :p

I never once said Wills figures from his RR are bo**ocks as you put it ... actually if you read back you will see this was written in jest as dyno's are a total lottery as mentioned earlier.

In fact you can put any car on different dyno's and get different figures so its a guide more than set in stone.

But like I said I'd love to put my own car on a different RR just out of curiousity because in my experience I'd likely gain another 10-15bhp from a non dyno dynamics rolling road.

As you rightly say its about how it drives but anyway to get back on topic... christ I should have just kept quiet!
