My mate has just got his Corsa VXR back from Thorney Motorsport after having a stage 2 remap, exhaust and sports cat fitted (now runs 222.3bhp) and after being out in it and hearing what it sounds like im looking at doing stuff to mine now!!

What i want to know is, are there any companies out there where i can go and get something done similar to what my mate has had done above. He got it as a package...as im remap, exhaust and cat for a set price (pretty sure it was the power pack 2 from this link.....Clicky)

I have had a look around a few websites..JBS, AMD Tecknik but without any luck. If im barking up the wrong tree with this, then where would be the best/cheapest place to go to get a Miltek exhaust? Dont need to worry about fitting it as i can do this with a mate. I did look into this yesterday via the Mk4 FAQ section and there seemed to be an issue in regards to there not being a Miltek exhaust for a Mk4 and having to buy the Mk4 FR exhaust which wasnt a good fit??

Any help would be appreciated

Most tuning places will do you a deal on the packege you want mate.

I know P-Torque deffo do packeges. I have just had a stage2 p-torque map on my cupra and I got 230bhp & 245lb/ft. I know its a bit of a treck for you but its well worth it.

Here is my graph

have just received a message from P-Torque and they offer a package that includes an exhaust and a custom map which should see me to 235bhp and 265ft/torque. Need to find out what damage this will do to my wallet first and what exhaust they do as am after the Miltek non resonated exhaust with the oval tailpipe (same as what Rash had on his ibiza)

Damo - what sort of performance figures you getting out of yours....0-60, etc??

Thank you aswell to whoever changed my thread title!!

EDIT: just plumbed their address into RAC route planner to see how long it takes....

Total Distance: 166.14 mile(s) (267.38km), about: 3 hour(s) 5 minute(s)

Sounds reasonable to me!!

Not sure about 0-60 times, Jay. Quicker than standard though.

I traveled further to go to P-Torque mate, round trip of about 480 miles. Left at 06:30 and got home at 18:00.
Worth it though mate. I couldnt believe how much harder it puls and right to the red line too.
The drive home was so much fun :D.

KrisO of here has just had the same as you have been offered and he got more than me, but he did have a full turbo back exhaust.

Do you have a Forge TIP yet? If not, I'd recommend getting one mate.

Any company will do a package, if you ring them and ask them tbh mate, well they should do!!

In regards to what sort of performance you will get, I have 226bhp and 375lb.ft (diesel) and run a standard 1/4 in 13.83, which looking at the 1/4 slip, working it out my 0-60 is under 6 seconds. Just :p

Damo - will be looking into getting the TIP before i go down this route..presuming that i do!

T-Spark - Thanks for the advise mate!!

Have had a response from P-Torque who have thrown a VERY good offer my way that im very tempted to look into further, but its just a case of getting the money together first. They have offered me a cat back exhaust, but ideally i want a turbo back exhaust

What was the damage for a stage 2 custom map? Been wanting this for aaaaaalllllooooonnnnngggggggg time but think it will be the new years solution... Only just managed to shake off a Mk5 GTi the other night.

This is what P-Torque said to me this morning....

"The normal custom mapping is £345.00 with forum discount.

Dyno runs = £45.00"

Traction isn't great! Lots of wheelspin in 1st and 2nd as it pulls up the revs, and some in 3rd with full throttle. But the roads have been cold and wet and I have Yokohama Paradas so not a ood combination ;) I'm waiting for some warmer weather so I can give it everything in the lower gears without it just slipping.

I must agree with Kris, as I have nearly the same setup as him (minus the exhaust).
Traction is poo in these conditions, I'm even getting wheelspin around 4k rpm in 3rd gear.

Just to show how much difference a Forge TIP makes to airflow, here is a graph of my MAF readings before and aftrer. (this is before the open cone filter with a smoothed airbox and green filter).
