Looking to buy a new horn for the car

Hey there

Looking for a new horn to buy. I'll need a high-tone horn so I can alert those sleepy drivers in Cairo who overtake you without even noticing. I cannot decide between the FIAMM and the HELLA horns, which are both available on Amazon (I cannot make purchases from eBay as they do not ship to Egypt and I do not have PayPal). The HELLA hi-tone horns seem to be too, too loud, though, like ones in trucks they are just annoying. Does anybody recommend any good but cheap horns? I can pay up to 25 USD.

There probably ok for what they are. Theres an OEM dual tone horn you know?

Yes, I am aware that higher-end Leons come with it stock, but then again I am pretty sure it is very expensive (or at least compared to aftermarket horns) so I am not willing to spend that much, plus I found a local store that sells FIAMM horns which will save me shipping and customs money and also three - four weeks of waiting for it to arrive!

They guy advised me to switch the location of the horn, though, to be somewhere under the hood rather than behind the fog light since we have a lot of mud and water on the ground sometimes and it may screw it up; plus, it's really hard to reach it when it's behind the fog light and of course taking up the bumper is a pain in the butt. Do you recommend a certain position in the car?

I dont see why its a problem where it is, everything is covered even the underside of the car. Although im not looking forward to taking my bumper off for the first time.... Iv asked dave at sere for a price for the oem 2 tone, just awaiting reply.

Definitely 400/500 for me. The other one just sounds like a truck's, lol.

I am going to search for it locally, if I don't find it I might just end up ordering it. Thanks a lot!
