Lowered 40mm

Springs arrived at 9:20 this morning (thank ****!)

Jamex, 40mm lower

So straight off to Johnny Protons Superhero's to get the car slammed. I couldn't be bothered reversing the car down to his garage today, so thought I'd let him have a crack!

Anyway, back to the springs. Here they are:

Didn't look that low to me until I was reversing from the drive

upon closer inspection

Turns out, could only get a finger and half under the sill! Nice B)

So that's that. Job's a good en! Go for a quick spin to let em settle.

To me, the front doesn't look much different, although, lookin at the pics, I can tell. The back end is very noticeable IMO.

Think Johns prediction before we started the 15s would fill the arches well was right. They fit perfect. All I need now is some nice new wheelies

Before anyone says, I only lowered it because it was cheaper than replacing 2 standard springs!!!

2. is that a neon tube i see?!?!

3. I prefer the standard badged grille.

4. wtf are those spotlights bog eyed(looking in random directions) at the front?

5. I dont think your nuts should be showing on those wheels. I dont like the wheels period...

1) ok

2) technically LED - but doesnt get used anymore, been on for about 3 years

3) i dont

4) TBH, dunno why i added em, wish I didnt as they do jack ****! may take em off

5) one center cap was nicked so took em all off. I'm not a fan, but better than the 13s as standard and at £40, will do as a "pass me by" until i've got the funds for the ones in my sig

Bad, IMO it looks awful, £40 quid or not, you could have put £40 quid towards a better set of wheels.

TBH I dont like one thing about the car, dont take this as personal though, as probably much like your self, i've modified my car to the way i like it, not others.

But i dont understand why people sometimes spend money, as a "Just until"

Save that money and you'd be at the end of the just until before you know it.

nope, they're cash and something i 5 year old puts on their tricycle

in what way have i killed it?

its pretty standard with nice mods like tints, debadge and alloys. granted it has LEDs under it, but they dont get used (was put on from my teenage years)

other than that, its a standard 1.4 ibiza

Will obviosuly not satisfy all tastes, i personally agree with most comments above, but if you like it...then so beit!!

At least get the hub caps back on though...and loose the tints....oh and the under car neons.

They just look over the top.

You say there 75%? The rear quarter windows are not the same as the front windows are they? Those rear quarters never allow 75% of light through surely?

Police are pulling 'everyone' in and around Birmingham lately and checking their tints and the amount of light they allow through, as 3 people have been killed as of late, of which tinted windows are said to have contributed.

like i said, neons are from teenage years

they're 75% tint, as in 25% light in, front are about 50% (medium)

All it is mat is that people prefer to keep VAG as close to the standard look as possible thats why your getting some negative feedback, but everyone has their own opinion and aslong as your happy with it then it dont matter what anyone else says. I think it needs some cupra side skirts to set of the side look of it and you can easily do some cutting on the front bumper to make it a bit smoother kind of like this (my old ibiza by the way)
