lowered my ibiza and now problems

Hello All

Basically I have a 2001 Y reg Ibiza. I recently purchased a set of cupra shocks and springs from a board member on here. I am aware that the springs and shocks I purchased where for a 1.8t lump and the car I have has a 1.4

My problem is that the rear has settled down very nicely and looks great, but the front is a little too high (lower than standard but higher than it should be).

Is there anyway I can get the front of my car to sit lower down?
I was thinking about getting some lowering springs, but will I still have the same problem or will this sort itself out if I get some 60mm springs that are meant for the 1.4 Ibiza.

I would really appreciate any advice you lot could give me on this.

i think its because of the weight of the different size engines.try getting a set of 40mm springs for your car that should sort it

as i said in my original post the reason for the front being higher than it should be because i have a 1.4 lump and its lighter than a 1.8t lump.

would it be possible to get lowering springs for the front only ?

yea that is def the reason mate yea would think so try ebay or something not sure any where else

i want to try and maintain the same spring stiffness as the standard cupra suspension. as its firm but not horribel to ride in.

Cupra's aint low to begin with and the fronts always seem to sit too high, as does the back!

well im not looking for decked low. i still need my car for carrying around heavy stuff. the rears are perfect now they sit less than an inch off the rear tyres, bu tthe front are a good 4 inches i just need to get that front down. i will post a picture up this morning of how it looks.
