Hi again,
I thought new thread for each topic didnt want to get confused with responses.
Getting a set of 17's for my Ibiza 2005 1.9 Tdi Sport, wrapping them in 205/40/17 tyres, any advice on lowering? How many millimeters, type of springs, cost, worth it?
Cheers
Chris
iv got mine on P.I. springs lowering it 45mm they cost me £90 from rtec
id say its worth it, but u should probably consider doing coilovers if uv got the cash

You will get loads or people on here telling you to just get coilovers because springs will shag your shocks in no time. You will have to get uprated shocks to match the springs and you might as well get a set of coilovers... There is a link in the FAQs about it. Just giving you the heads up!
If you're wanting a big drop then coilovers are the only option. If you're just wanting around a 30mm drop then I'd say go for a good set of springs and shocks, maybe something like the KW or Weitec...
