Was on track at Silverstone. Trouble was it was wet, so I was having to spend at least 1 lap testing the grip in the corners. In this time I'd let past Gary. Thing is, he had a bit of a scare and one corner and slowed up and I was catching him again after finding where grip was and wasn't, until the session got stopped and I was right up behind him again.

I am well up for a DRY! 2009 trackday! Middle of July please! :D

must admit nearly going into a wall at 90mph slowed me down a bit,but i was just getting my confidence back when they stopped the sesion, and before my moment i was absolutely flying, shiftys hybrid fabia got shown the way by a mear re mapped one too tho,so thats re mapped fabias 2 hybrid fabias 0,the reasons just seem like excuses to me:p:D

Yeah, ive seen a few bits youve done and seems about the same as mine ive or take the odd thing :)

I remember when I was running 170bhp and was flying round cadwell, minus Ian Cupra (who wasnt there as his brakes went & a caterham) nothing else could keep up in the twisties, so much so that 3 cars spun off right infront of me trying to stay infront. Had a IHI Leon owning me on the straights but struggling in the corners, so we were even!

Anyone tried the 80% LSD kits

Anyone tried the 80% LSD kits

http://www.kermatdi.com/servlet/-strse-280/80-percent-kit-from/Detail

From Kerma web site above:
This kit increases the factory 20% anti torque steer effect to 80%. The 80% Pelolok kit helps eliminate torque steer and inside wheel spin.

The 020 80% Pelolok kit can be installed without removing the transaxle. It will also work with the Peloquin differential, as well as the stock factory differential. This kit is for the 1984 and up 020 transmission, Plus will work in some V.W. Automatics, such as the 010 3-speed and 01M 4-speed.

The late Automatics such as the 01M we will require complete VIN number to verify fit.

The 80 % kit includes: 10MMx1.5 CV flange tool, 2 CV flange seals, 2 C clips, 2 80% brass shims, 2 thrust washers, 2 steel puck seals with O-rings and 2 10mm retaining bolts.

Looks like something that might be worthwhile given the lesser price and labour required, but how well would it perform and last?
