Running 5psi of boost they don't think it needs an IC, should add about 40bhp so with decat it'd be ~165bhp?

Well the no modding lasted a little bit...
I fitted my corbeau bucket a few weeks back, which gave me a little more space to move.
But today I've picked up a stainless steel exhaust, and decat. bit of a faff to get the old system off with 18yr old nuts - so I ended up grinding a couple off.
Fitment was so easy though. exhaust & decat supplied with new gaskets, nuts & bolts. All the joints are 'flanged' so mate up lovely. Never had it so easy with SEAT exhausts!
Decat has certainly helped, a little bit tinny at the moment as it needs coking up a bit, but that & the increase in bore overall seem to have really helped!
Roll cage is next though, having seen some crashed images recently it 'needs' to be done.
MOT on Friday though, so it'll probably fail on some minor bits.

Need to change the clutch first... seems that popping the clutch mid corner to promote some rear wheel steering has taken it's toll a bit.
On the seat front.

12 months ticket acquired today... it had failed on slight welding, and some sillies.
Nearside handbrake was 'inefficient' so I buggered about - and ended up just needing to adjust it.
I even got my wife to pick me up from work after she collected it from the MOT place so I could drive it home
