Magnex Exhausts.

Hey Guys & Gals. I am looking at a Magnex exhaust for my Beeza, i was wondering if anybody else owned one. I know alot of people have Miltek exhausts on it but has anyone got a Magnex cat back? Whatchya lot think?

Correct, they are out of business. Although they have no warranty they be uber cheap!!

they keep cropping up on eBay with a company call junction26m1. They are very open about the fact there is no warranty due to buying bankrupt stock.

might add a few bhp, maybe 5-10. But on a derv it tends to make them sound more like a petrol. Plus it usually makes the car feel a little more responsive.

I decided to remap first (more bang for buck) and then pipe and high flow CAT before getting a stage 2 map. Although that said it would help a mapped car full stop.

Depends on the bore of the pipe I guess?!

They're selling that exhaust for £200 +p&p cat back , yet the universal back boxes are £50. Their shop is local to me.

£200 for a CAT back is a good price. Normally for any brand of CAT back your looking at £300. Universal back boxs are cheap cause they are mass produced - there is no way of knowning if it will fit nicely and you have to hack off the end of the OEM pipe usually to fit it. I'd stick with the system specifically designed for the car cause you know there will be no issues.

What size is the magnex? am i right in asuming 2.5''?

If you want an exhaust out of the box & dont want milltek then id go for it mate .

Blueflame seem to be popular with VRS's but they dont do a ibiza version?

I'm thinking about getting the LC version after christmas - but like everywhere at the moment its dodgy at work so I'm holding off.

Just so you know... the price has dropped to £99 for that system. I picked one up on friday and had it fitted over the weekend. Nice system, happy with it click my sig.

Ive had there systems on a couple of cars in the past and at that price its a bargain!
At the end of the day the waranty counts for nothing anyway and its stainless so if something does go wrong with it, it will take about 2mins for almost anyone to weld and cost f-all

just saw them on ebay myself i have a 1.2 on 02 plate. Is the system loud? or isit a nice bore? ive got a baby now so my moding days are nearly dead and only 18! so a very loud exhaust would look out of place with a baby seat in the back lol
