Is there any maximum number of times you should clay your car in a year? Or only when it REALLY needs it?

I would say only when needed, but some insist on doing it several times a year, so based on this I'd say use the meguiars grade at the start of the year, then towards the middle/end, use sonus green, which is milder & not so abrasive.

A regular wash & wax will also help reduce the need to clay often, IMO

Really is stunning the difference a good clay session can make, first time I couldn't believe the difference, makes car feel so smooth too

I bought the megs kit and the 2 stage polish and wax, looked like a different car.. gets my vote too..

microfibre cloths are a nice addition to any detailing kit, used one for the first time with the megs polish and was well impressed..

Haven't read the destructions on my quick clay kit yet, but do I wash the car first then clay? Then wash it again?

My mates all wonder why i rub the car with car with play-doh. They think I'm nuts, a few minutes later after rubbing the paint, i pick their jaws up off of the floor and listen to the usual comments of........"thats as smooth as glass"or "thats like paint on a new car"
