cos to be honest he seems like a bit of an idiot if u want to be better than him
cars are for enjoyment and a laugh - take it too seriously and it might just take the fun out of driving
dont get me wrong i love to have a play with little boys in saxos that think my little ibiza is a 1.4 lol idiots - especially when they realise im a bird - the other half doesnt like the fact that his 2.5 24v 3 series beemer couldnt lose me lol - i coulnt get past him but i was on his tail all the way - and i smoked his little renault 19 valver that has been chipped hehe
remember that ur little valver is still a nippy little car - dont go and get another car just to prove u are faster than your mate - you will lose all the character you get with ur mk2

I did exactly this with all my friends and boy racer friends. The final ended as expected. My friend with a car that has semi permanent 4x4 and 300bhp lost to me, the driver of a 150bhp 16valver.
