Well, I also have the 1.4 Sport, and find it fine at cruising speed, as long as you foot in not on the floor, its fine.

Hmmm, it's up to you, but I'd save and wait for a K&N personally. They really are worth that little bit extra.
Im going to save for a K&N reading this thread .. its definitely worth it, i went into halfords to buy there universal ones.. but because im clueless with cars i couldnt fix it to the car, and when one of my friends done it the sound was bad and didnt want to damage the car .. but i will defo save for the k&N
