Making Speaker Adaptors??

Has anyone on here made theyre own speaker adaptors for the MK3??

I have some components to go in but dont want to spend money on a set of adaptors when I have MDF lying around. Just wondered what dimensions I will need to make them to as I havent seen adaptors for the Ibiza before.

Measure the PCD's of both the new speakers and the mountings in your doors.

yeh but what depth do the adaptors need to be

how far do I need to space them away from the doors I mean

Surely you make a fat one and skim it down to suit by trial and error.

yeah, ive made some too, but the amount of damp around a door area, your better off with plastic ones tbh.
