making window buttons less sticky

they feel a bit 'thick'....any tips on a good way to unstick them?

wd 40 or something, but maybe from the other side?

i will be taking the door cards out soon to fit some speakers

If you're taking the door cards out - see if you can get a bit of isopropanol cleaner or similar on the mechanism to clear out accumulated gunk
