I don't have the leon with me, but maybe someone else could disconnect their n75 and listen for a hiss?

Not sure if it's revised mate. It's exactly same part number as old one though.

If you have a chance one day to disconnect the bottom(thinnest) hose from N75 and see if there is any boosted air coming out that would be great.

I've been reading about intercooler clips and seals letting go. Also can see that there are forge pipes for our cars. Was going to check the pipes today but raining all the time.

I was thinking the same about Lukes egr.
This egr error might be related either to crappy plug connection or leaking gasket not necessarily faulty egr.

Let us know what they say please. I had my car last saturday at seat. A friend of mine works there but he scanned it and had a look around and said all is ok.
It isn't obviously.

It'll be a week before i get a chance to disconnect n75, visiting inlaws, but i will and i'll get back to you.

By the way, i took mine to an indy specialist and they just scratched their heads and said let the fault develop then come back.

Good luck Luke, i'm sure they'll get somewhere with yours, let us know

That's the same I've been told. Not to worry. Went to tps today to order new clips and seals for intercooler pipes and will have them on tuesday. Will change them over just in case.

Just took the car to tesco and what a surprise. It started cutting out in 1st gear again which didn't do for few days now.

I had a closer look at pipes going from IC to turbo (as much as I can see from the top of engine bay) and all seem fine. Will take the undertray off on tuesday/wednesday and change gaskets and clips. Cant see that helping much but I want to take the pipes out and make sure none is cracked. Does any of you know what is the valve called just before the actuator?

My car is fixed :D

I have just collected mine from the garage, both the EGR and Boost Faults were cleared. The Boost one came straight back, so it was checked and found a split vacuum pipe to the turbo actuator. This has now been resolved, reset again and car running spot on again!

He did say if the EGR fault is still present which is unlikely as it is probably related to the boost fault, then it will return in about 60 miles but doesn't expect it to.

To say I'm chuffed is an understatement, only cost £35 + VAT.

Do you know if it was one of the large ic pipes or the small vacuum pipes around n75?

Yes, it does. Next to the orange plug

After work I went to check the vacuum hoses again. This time took most of them out and checked for cracks etc. Nothing.

Also noticed today that the cutting off in 1st gear happens only when engine is cold which directs me to EGR again. Booked mine in for a smoke test on Saturday to check for any leaks. If it is all ok then I'm screwed really because it will start getting expensive.

When I told the mechanics that after fitting new n75 car cut off boost completely, they were speechless :)
