Map Sensor - No Signal

Hello,

Back with the same old problem where the revs go up and down on my Ibiza 2.0 Gti 16v Cupra Sport '97. Had another diagnostic and it now says Map Sensor - No Signal. I have been told that the Map Sensor for this model is connected to the ECU. Anyone had a similar problem or can confirm where the Map Sensor is before I rip it apart?

do your vacum hoses first!! 4mm silicone tubing 4meters should do!

Hello Big-Pete,

Sorry I haven't logged on for over a month. Have you had a similar problem? Do I have to disconnect the battery after to clear the Map Sensor no signal fault code?
