can you tell me if i unrestrict the pipes from the standard ones and find a shorter more direct route will this in crease or decrease my turbo temps cos i have just done the laguna fmic conversion and found better routing for the colling pipes????????????/

Won't make any difference to intake temps, well, not noticable anyway. Did you mean intake temps?

Should reduce lag, as long as you don't increase the diameter too much.

IIRC Forge do a weld-on MAP Sensor boss - have a look at Rick_C's Purple Leon thread, I think there's pictures in there.
